  • -Energized by the Holy Spirit to reach out to others

Mission Team
The team meets monthly and their function is to inform and involve the congregation in the Church’s mission locally, nationally and internationally.

Gordon Globe
Our newsletter is distributed on the first Sunday of the month

It contains editorials, messages from the Minister, special articles, children’s pages and upcoming events.

Emergency Foodbank
Food, donated by the congregation, and placed in bags by the ladies of the Marie Douglas group provides a 1 to 2 day supply of food for needy people in the neighbourhood.

Camp Douglas
Camp Douglas is a wonderful Presbyterian camp located on the sunshine coast. We fundraise for the camp and we also have a camp and bursary fund to help families send their children to camp who could not otherwise afford it.

Yearly Fun Fair
The Margaret hall group organizes the fun fair every fall and invite the friends, family and neighbourhood to come and enjoy a lunch, silent auction, bake sale, craft sale and children’s activities.

Shoebox Party

In the fall the congregation meets in the lower hall to put together small gifts in shoeboxes to be sent to third world countries for the children for Christmas.

Canada Day Celebration
The Church provides a booth at the Canada Day celebrations in Richmond Park, across the street from the Church. We give out free juice and hand out information on our upcoming summer vacation Bible school.

Progressive Housing Society: Lunch Program

We supply sandwiches once a month to the Burnaby resource centre run by the progressive housing society. A group meets at 10:30 am open the first Wednesday of the month.

Presbyterian Sharing
This fund supports the national programs and ministries of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. It makes possible our existence as a Church denomination in Canada. It enables us to do mission and ministry in Canada and around the world.

PWS&D
Presbyterian World Service and Development is our way of working overse4as through Church and community partners and ecumenical bodies responding to human needs in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
