Christian Education Team
The team meets monthly or as required and its function is to provide for the Christian educational needs of the children, youth and adults of the congregation
Sunday School
Classes for:
3 to 5 year olds
Grades 1 to 7
Youth group
Children are involved upstairs in the worship services and after the Minister tells the children’s story, they proceed downstairs and have and open session with welcoming, review of their mission project, collection of offering, singing songs accompanied by guitar. They then go to individual classes. Presently they are using the David C. Cook curriculum. They have a few Sundays strictly devoted to doing special crafts. They also put on a Christmas pageant.
During the summer months, the older children are given material to take into Church they can do during the worship service.
Nursery
There is a properly equipped room for infants and young children up to age 3 with a nursery worker there at all times.
Bible Studies
Prayer and share- meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the upper lounge
Bible studies are arranged through the Minister. Check with the bulletin board or with the Church office for the current Bible study. Members of the congregation may decide to have home Bible studies and these can be arranged with the minster.
Library
We have an excellent library with many nonfiction and fiction books for adults, teens and children. We also have audio tapes available.
Vacation Bible School
